Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! I’m just sure that W5SJ wanted to sponsor me to join so ADXA could get the points from contest operations 😃. I recently paid dues for a few years in advance so I could say I was a life member of BVRC (no dues after age 73) so now I am a member of two radio clubs and one golf club. I think I’ll cut it off at three clubs.

I’m on Cayman Brac for another five days and then back home. It’s been a very busy 3 week trip with the ARRL Contest and dealing with the government, backhoe and concrete deliveries regarding a tower I’m going to put up. Big progress was made, however, and I now have one section of Rohn 55G tower and three anchors with a total of 9-1/2 yards of concrete - at least that’s what I paid for. I’m sure it totaled over 12 yards.

Bill had to earn his keep when he was here last week. Although neither of us did a high percentage of the work done, we tried to help Paul as much as a couple of old guys could.

Appreciate all the contacts from you guys over the years. I have always enjoyed hearing K5UR call in at 50-55 WPM on every band in every contest.

Oh, am I automatically subscribed to this reflector or do I have to do something?

73… Stan, K5GO & ZF9CW
