This is why I NEVER contribute to anything under 50 S until after the fact. The chances of a successful operation are pretty slim unless there's a big ship and helicopter involved.

Hey, I resemble that remark :). The only thing I can take credit for is noticing that even though there was a CQ in the right pane, he wasn’t coming back to anybody for 3 sequences so I knew something was wrong. My favorite digital mode is CW! I’m slightly more competent there.
I’ll also take credit for not using the word “boat” in my post. That was indeed a miraculously strong signal, for hours….. High sunspot number, though!
