Congrats to all with updates. Great work. I’m going thru DX withdrawal here in Baltimore for Christmas with oldest son. So good to see new ones for you Ops back home.
Don’t recall how many crystals I had in ‘64. More than I should, since the local Jonesboro older Hams helped me with some extra ones. Old Globe Scout and S-40B with Heath Q-Multiplier that saved the day. Only upgrade in home station before end of college was a DX-100 after passing General and then high school summer job for $$. “One pound per watt”. LOL

Jay also has filled in a bunch of band counters and now stands at 2204 for the Desoto Challenge. All this progress was achieved while sharing the station with Kathy, WQ5T. I’m sure Jay observes the “old school” ladies first routine when a new one pops up!
