[ADXA] W2HD's passing, former head of ARRL in the 70s and 80s

Harry Dannals, W2HD, former ARRL President for many years passed away a few days ago. ☹ 
He appointed me to the DX Advisory Committee in the late 70s and backed me as Chairman of the DXAC in 1980-83. I moved to Paris, AR in July 1983 and backed off to just being the Delta division DXAC member, since I had too much work to do as a family MD. The extra duties for DXAC Chairman was a monthly chore at times, accumulating data and info, conversing with members and ARRL officers and sending out detailed monthly reports for the ARRL Board to review, etc.

Harry was a hard worker for the ARRL and many of us older DXers appreciate his efforts for years. Rick UR and Joel ZN can vouch for the hard work Harry did for keeping the ARRL as the most important ham radio organizational entity in the world. RIP W2HD 👍  Thanks to Rick and Joel for continuing the ARRL course of positivity for ham operators.
