Saw this several times during CWT.  Sure made me perk up, but once I listen it wasn’t what was spotted.

Good advice, had not noticed that miscopy by so many DXers. Most of our ADXA guys are aware of things like this and usually check things before calling if any doubts .. W3UR’s weekly and daily DX publication is a good source of checking things out, etc..

FYI to ADXA folks,

Please don't fall into this trap, or be guilty of a false spot.

I see this every time E71A is on CW. He is spotted as EZ1A. Even when E71A slows his speed way down when someone sends his call wrong it is still miscopied.

I don't know if it is folks using code readers or folks that just can't copy CW. Regardless, please pay attention to what is being sent. I understand "Z" is close to "7" on CW but this isn't hand grenades or horseshoes. There is no "EZ1A" in Turkmenistan.

Emil, E71A, is very active from Bosnia & Herzegovina.
