Hi Dennis,
In DXKeeper click on "RAT" for real-time award tracking. It is in the center of the main logging page. You can also access this under Check Progress tab. If you want to see a summary you can click on that for the current stats. Should match up your LOTW closely.

Under the RAT page you can check/uncheck on the Worked/Unworked, Comfirmed, Requested, and Verified to show just about anything you need vs. have.

Let me know if we need to chat more about this. I am sure there are more ways to simplify or better, but that should get you going

John and George are a hard act to follow!

Subject: [ADXA] how to get a list of entities needed/worked by band

I’ve been a lazy record keeper and really only cared about the grand total, but now I’d at least like to get to Challenge level 1000 and maybe higher. I know I have QSL cards that will fill in some band counters. I use dxlab for logging but I haven’t loaded everything on it - only back to about 1980. I had worked almost everything before I started with dxlab so I have not used it to keep up with DXCC counts.

What I’d like to do is print out a list of entities I haven’t worked by band. Then I could go through the QSL’s and make notes and set the cards aside for submission. I guess I could do this while looking at the computer screen, but I’d really prefer to have it printed. I can see ways to do it, but it will take a ream of paper and I’m not sure I’d have much control over formatting. I could sort the QSL’s by band and then do one band at a time, and that might be the best way to get started.

Any suggestions for the easiest/best way to do this? Maybe I should try to bring dxkeeper up to date but that seems like more of a long term goal. Exporting something from ARRL that I could import into Excel seems like a good option but I can’t see any way to do that.

I can blame George Cotton and John Evans for this…can’t let the locals get too far ahead of me!

73,
Dennis
