[ADXA] 10 meters yesterday

Had time to listen to the SSB portion of 10 meter band yesterday about
1700-1800z. Picked up Jeff (TZ4AM ) from Mali on 28.545 for a new band
counter and new mode. Had to work him a while. Didn't get a QSO until he
became about a 57 here. 
 
Tried to work Mike (V51MA) on 28.530, but he never became strong enough (51
to 53). Lots of activity on the band, but most of it too weak for me to have
a QSO. Fun to hear lots of stations working 10 though.
 
Still trying to get a good window for 3C3CA (worked him 10/8 but don't know
if I am in his log or not for 12m FT8) and TX7G. Haven't caught TX with a
traffic lull yet on CW frequencies. He's generally not strong enough for me
to bust through the pileups. 
 
Just had a cold front and TS line move through my area. Will see what I can
find today. 
 
I am at 959 on Challenge. Slowed but steady progress, I guess. 
 
73 all and have some DX fun today,
