Hi San, These operators are working 8 plus a minute when using multi-stream FT8. I've seen as many as five Streams on each transmission. That is pretty amazing rate considering they're giving some folks an all-time new one that have marginal antennas. Like living in HOAs, Etc.  I guess we can look at their post operation stats. Assuming they are on Club log? They do indeed have some great CW operators. Worked them one call on 40 last night, then DB Don work them with only three calls. I thought Dennis had them as well, but there was another station with a similar call right on top of him. However shortly after Dennis got them 30 m CW after them quitting on 40 CW. That contact was A- Okay for Dennis, but I didn't hear Dave Norris's contact. I love listening on the sidelines when ADXA members work them quick. Those big guns down in central Arkansas! All this within a few minutes. They don't stick around for very long on any band. I've been watching their real time log as they move from band to band. I like their instant gratification you work them all you have to do is look on the screen and you're in the log. What's really cool is you can see what bands and mode you have already worked them and look up and see what bands they're currently on.73 jay/w5jay Sent from my Galaxy

And I thought FT modes were mainly useful for when CW and SSB were inaudible.  Most DXpedition operators on CW or SSB can work more QSOs per minute than FT8 or quicker FT4 allow.. When I see software modes being used at the expense of CW and SSB and RTTY which are “in” and very audible, that puts a bad feeling in the minds of many of us. Sub-audible is OK for sure, and then I am for FT modes when other strong modes can not being used. When signals are in the big + range, 5-6 QSOs per minute by SSB and CW ops is very fast, no waiting for 15 and 30 second rules etc. IIWII and it’s their $ on the ‘other end’ and their time.. But many are left out of QSOs if SSB and CW are no used much, especially when conditions are in and 5-6 Qs a minute can be made..
