Good station. Worked him 4/23. Confirmed by card through Clublog and also on LOTW after I got the card. Took a month on the card. He said there were covid restrictions on mail in mail. Sent page from a ham radio publication in the envelope. All in Chinese :-). Also, sent me an email when he mailed it. 

A couple of a days later I worked a BV station that confirmed that day. But the BW2 station was more fun being an ATNO and the extra attention he gave :-).


Rant begins: Had to call the sheriff dept last night to complain about the party across the holler with steel drums going past midnight. We need a good reflective Memorial Day. K1A is on the air. 

Also need to appeal to the tender mercies of God for another Great Awakening. ULTRA MAGA alone will not save our country. Rant concluded.

I worked a station in Taiwan last night on 12 meters, FT8. BW2/JP1RIW. It has been a LONG time since I worked a station in Taiwan.  If anyone needs it, keep an eye out on 12 meters.  I am using a rotatable dipole. I had to enable to amp, about 500 watts and he responded on the third try, first try with power.

Hope everyone is well.  Everyone have a reflective Memorial weekend. I'm thinking about friends I lost.  Nothing happy for me.
