[ADXA] FW: P5/4L4FN Spotted on DXSummit on 7.021 up 2 by IZ1UHF

Hi Lanny,

I think it is a shame when folks do the pirate thing.  It does provide some entertainment from time to time!  

 

However that P5/4L4FN is my only claim to DXing fame, hi.  Please see attached.  Before I could spell DX or knew what a pileup was, I just happened by the P5 on 10m SSB during my lunch break.  Talk about luck.  Reminds me of the saying, Every now and then even a squirrel gets a nut!  I wasn’t even keeping count or new how rare a P5 was!  

 

Missed a biggie, when our K5FUV was XZ Myanmar!  Maybe this solar cycle?  

 

Wonder if I will live long enough to become one of those number 1 guys?  About 10 down I think?  Maybe around 335 if I am lucky.  Looking back, wish I had started this back in the early 70s instead of waiting until the late 90s.  Oh well still a ton of fun!!

Feels like I’m still very popular 😊 but… have to disappoint HAMs worldwide – no, its not me for a very simple reason – I’m back home at 4L and haven’t touched the radio for a while. 

Just wonder what is the goal and reason when someone pretends to be someone else… probably the lack of personality.

 

By the way… if anyone expects another operation from P5 – I have a bad news, as long as son of the “rocket man” sits there – forget it!

Always a joker out there somewhere lurking on the cluster. 4L4FN is real and he was in P5 once upon a time but not ever since little rocket man expelled him from North Korea because he was feeding the peasants too much food (4L4FN worked for the UN World Food Program).
