Snow is sticking in the yard, almost completely covered, but so far not on the road.

… and not flurries per se but more wet snow, falling straight down and sorta fast like light rain. Will not stick due to ground temp. But supposedly will only reach 31 degrees today max and then into the lower 20s tonight here in NWAR.  Central AR minimal snow including at Hot Springs area and no travel problems there.

Yes! Remember the old driver safety commercials back in the '60s "Watch out......for the OTHER guy!"

I monitor news and weather several times a day. The ongoing info about our 1-3 inches of snow is that it will NOT stick or cause a problems especially on the interstate system, since it will be a moist type snow and enough ground temp and daily sunshine that all will melt pretty fast and easily. Back roads might have more residue but not icy hard or a problem unless you drive too fast or have a lot of curves. I worry about the "other" guy coming towards me!

The storm due in here tonight may hamper travel on I-40 for us.  NWS has predicted 1 - 3" of snow accumulation down to and including I-40 tonight through tomorrow.  Knowing ADOT they may not get it cleared until sometime Saturday.  I am going to play it by ear this time.

73,

Rory, K5CKS
