[ADXA] FFMA Completed W5KI

Yep that is one of the hardest grids, IMHO. The FFMA is one of the hardest awards to achieve. I think Steve got #32 FFMA and that number shows you how rare it is. Only a few in the ADXA have that award. Talk about dedication!

Sort of funny, Steve and I were texting back-n-fort when and he was giving me some details on that grid. For some reason I thought Steve had FFMA, but learned today he didn’t. Well not until today, hi. LOTW is great! 😊

A few days ago I chased that WL7T/P when he was over in Oklahoma, but didn’t get him. So last night when JTA alerted me all I saw was WL7T/P Alaska! Brain dead for a few, I thought he was up in Alaska and turned the beam up that way. AK would be a my last state and a new country for me. I was so pleased to get him, but then remembered him being in OK just a few days ago. So I checked and sure enough he was in EL84 once I saw his CQ. So I worked him off the back of the beam and it took more than one interval to get the RR73. He confirmed EL84 a few hours later that night.

Even a squirrel gets a nut from time to time!

Way to Steve and again Congrats! 73 de w5jay/jay..

I am not familiar with that award.

Is that something I might be able to achieve?

-- Never mind. I googled it.

No, I could never achieve that.

Wow. I agree. Way to go Mr. Steve.
