Started off this morning about 7:00 listening to Eddy (XV1X) on 40m FT8
between dog walks and feeding duties. He was fairly strong until about 7:30
with -04 being the strongest I heard. Still, I've not been able to break
through the barrier. Hope to catch him soon.
Later 15m had some good callers on phone about 8:00. Only one became strong
enough momentarily for me to contact: Jose (EA5JDN) in Spain. He was not
very busy. Among others I heard were II7WRTC (good pileup), Andy/HB9CVE,
Hugh/6Y5HM and Marc/F6HQP.
Have been enjoying spending more time spinning the SSB and CW dial. Also
received a QSL card today from Ken (LA7GIA) from his stint in the Central
African Republic as TL7M.
73 es gud DX,
Scott/W5AAJ
