Actually, in New England he’d prefer the Yaesu front end. Pretty rf active up there.

if there is anyone looking for a really nice HF/6m rig.  I have a Yaesu FTDX5000 with station monitor and DMU 2000 I am going to try to sell.  This has come back from Yaesu service to fix a common problem in these radios of the right side led screens getting dim within the past year.  The went thru the whole radio and gave it a very clean bill of health.  Just going to try to liquidate before moving
