Hi Bill,

Stan and I were waving at you and Mr Bernie. I forget his callsign now, something AS? ( I think he is nearby as well?).

Stan is finally retiring after tomorrow, so let’s all get together sometime soon! I spend the whole day with Stan at OWS and later at Mark’s house. It was a great day with friends!!

You were within about 500 yards of my QTH.

Hi Joel,

I always had a lot have fun on the top band when I had a shunt fed tower on 160 with a nice radial system. The 160m SSB contest were not so much for the DXCC, but for me was more about comradery and just being with the gang. Early going on 160 was to see if I could finish off WAS on that band. Like I was telling the guys at our local club meeting, life before FT8 achieving WAS on 160m a pretty good achievement from a city lot with no receive antenna. Ditto for DXCC and WAZ on that top band is very difficult.

I sure miss getting on that band. Someday I'll get my act together.

The 160 contest is the CQWW 160 SSB contest. I’m not big into SSB tests so not in this one.

Just got back from Mark K5XH's QTH and saw tons of RTTY at his QTH, but all stateside since it was NAQP test.

I worked Reunion Island early this morning because there is some sort of FR test AKA France contest going on.

Someone said there was still another contest on 160 last night? Not sure about that one.

Pretty much gone the whole day so not a lot of radio time.

Great to see you and the Gang and ows today. 73 Jay

Not a lot of RTTY on today. Limited DX, especially NO USSR spots! Wonder why?
