In an earlier post this morning I noted there were a lot of jokers and clowns on the air that would be pirating FT8WW now that the callsign is publicly known. It appears the entire Barnum & Bailey train has arrived at the station. So far this morning I have seen spots for not only a fake FT8WW, but also for KH7K (Kure Island), FT4XW (Kerguelen Island), VK0IR (Heard Is.), and CE0X (San Felix). All appear to be originating from the same location in Europe. K5FUV noted all of these entities during his ADXA presentation on the rare "Top Ten Most Needed". Don't waste your time chasing these spots. If they were really on the air the DX news would be issuing an all points bulletin!
