True story just now on 15m.  While Kathy was trying to work the TO9W on 15m RTTY, I was the one wheeling the DXLab WinWarbler’s controls.  I had forgot how to switch her callsign over from mine on RTTY.  After I settled down I remembered within a few minutes and then they went QRX 5.  While I am trying my best to set it all back up correctly she is offering advice to me from behind my back!  This becomes quite a circus within our family.  Now anyone that knows me, knows I can barely think and chew bubble gum at the same time.  I am a single task only person unlike Kathy.  While working some new ones on 12m today she was also texting W9DCT at the same time!

She had already complained about me shutting things down late last night.  She woke up and heard a new one on FT8 (without the antenna being connected!).  Thankfully the LP-700 has a VSWR alarm and she quit transmitting.

For those that don’t do FT8 modes they may wonder how she is hearing FT8 alarms, they are set up in JTAlert.  That alerts her while she is in the other room and doing other things around the house.

I am in DEEP Trouble, but I started this!

Kathy, WQ5T, has provided updated DXCC Standing information.  She has added 17 to her Mixed total and now stands at 224.  She also added ten new ones on both Phone and CW.  Kathy picked up 91 new band multipliers across 80-10M to bump up her Desoto Challenge  total to 760.  Very nice progress Kathy.
