S9OK will be slowly packing up to leave tomorrow; perhaps a few still need them for a new band, etc and good luck on the chase today. Other nice semi-rare stations are on and gives us something to continue to chase these next few days. Go get ‘em!! 👍
Have fun in this great hobby of ours, whether it be DXing, morning coffee nets, emergency activities, general long winded QSOs on our many bands, or attending ham radio gatherings to meet new hams and rehash things with old friends. Anxious to see what this next year or two brings to our hobby and agree with Rick UR’s concerns expressed the past couple of years.
Rick and Joel have been great ARRL Presidents the past several years and have guided us in the right direction to keep our hobby viable and involving younger people, most of whom have been caught up in different social media platforms and distractions in recent years. We are fortunate to be able to continue being active ham radio operators, tho some older people have always thought we were just advanced CBers! 😉
73 and as Joel says, “go chase some DX!” ….
