[ADXA] my first QSL that included a gold coin Z36T

I have 4-5 completely NUDE photo QSLs with frontal view and they came from a K9 USA ham. Still have them in a metal box of “special” cards! HI And, all of them are different girls, so he had to know them very well. Yes, I did QSL back to him quickly and made sure I worked him on my future DXpeditions… if I heard him. Yep, good ole days way back in the 70s and 80s.

I used to send many nice cancelled stamps to a Russian ham friend-stamp collector and he in turn would arrange to get Russian hard-to-get cards for me from a needed band-mode USSR DXCC entity. That too was many years ago. He has since passed away. I have kept several dozen stamps from countries (mainly from those wanting one of my DXped QSLs); some pictorial and some very large etc. Strange that some did not have cancelled black scanned markings on them, so appears ‘as new’.. And I would steam them off the envelope or just cut them out leaving a small envelope border, so as not to cut the stamp per se. Some of my later team DXped trips after 2000 had QSL requests go to our QSL managers, so that stopped my nice incoming stamps to collect. Ugggh.😒👍
73 and TU for the “female photo”!

I rarely post or comment because my Best Accomplishments pale compared to you old guys. And, you OLD guys are quick to tell me how minuscule my accomplishments are compared to your accomplishments.
But then, I remind myself that there are likely other young guys in the ADXA group who can relate to my small Conquests. Hopefully I encourage the little Pistols like me.

I have received lots of cards where the DX op put multiple small stamps on the envelope knowing that Most of us collect stamps. I do. I save & love all the foreign postage stamps.
Today was the first paper QSL I've received that came with a gold coin. It's about the same size & color as a Sacagawea dollar coin.
One of the most erotic Paper cards I've received, PLUS a gold coin from Al in Macedonia.
N5QJ for a WIN today.
73, Jonathan
