I am lucky but have been chasing Cocos and Xmas for many years, especially after WARC came into being. Need on 24mc WARC band and also 160m, like Joel. Very difficult and short openings for us and usually very weak. Also need for ATNO on RTTY but does not help me that they are only on FT8… Uggh That’s DX for you. Still sorta fun putting things in the log when nobody else is calling just to say you worked ‘em. Have the A25RU on couple of bands when I could hear them well and no big pileups. Got in and out with just 1-2 calls.
GL guys.

I listened to their muffled sound in the noise on 7.165 this morning from 6:20-6:40. They went off the air there just as they were coming into the grayline with night falling. Several of those calling I heard on 7.170 that were making it through were from N2, N3, N4.
The only place I have made copy on them has been 7.056 F/H late in the afternoon here. Their signal has only been -13 at best which has not been enough for me to make contact. SFI has been 74-77, maybe 78 if lucky.
Good luck and 73,
Scott/W5AAJ

I was amazed to learn I only had Cocos worked on 20 CW and Phone. Now I know why. I have yet to EVER hear them since they have been on the air. Are they even ON the air? They weren't kidding when they said "holiday style." Disappointing. Anyone else heard them?
