My modified Alpha 76 went bang last month. I still haven’t taken it off the shelf or looked inside. Gonna be expensive, I think.

possibly tube flashed over and failed. Fortunately, I have my original 
amp as a back-up plus an Acom 1010 I brought back from FL.  Probably not
