Time for a smaller toolbox for portable ops! Tried to figure out why my AL-811 grid current meter doesn't work any more. (I need a new amplifier - this one was intended to be a backup, anyway).

If the local school 2 miles north of me (where Kim and I both attended and graduated from) is playing against a school a few miles away I root for our school. Home team takes on a broader geographical context if the Razorbacks, UALR, ASU, UCA, Tech or other state college is in a competition with someone out of state I'm all for the Arkansas schools. Even broader, if the USA is in a competition in, for example, the Olympics I'm cheering on the USA team.

I see BHS, JJJ, VY, JQQ, ZM and most likely others in there banging out Q's. Scott, AAJ, is in there on 40 meters running folks this morning. Other ADXA folks are no doubt on their favorite band working DX as well.

That assures me that our phrase "GET IN THERE AND WORK 'EM" has been taken to heart and know I'm in there cheering on the "ADXA Home Team!!!!"
