Grub killer will definitely get rid of the grub worms but mole's feed of
red worms also and I have a ton of those in the ground that I can't get
rid of and thus a healthy mole population. They were worse this year
than they ever have been and I'm not sure why. At one point I told Kim
it must be just another 2020 thing and another "plaque" we're afflicted
with this year!! :-))
At least the locust didn't show up.....yet!

I have a mole problem here also that is a struggle to control but I have never had an incident where a mole was able to chew or claw into the hard outer black covering of hardline or the direct bury RG8 type cable I use now. I have had a mole issue with a one rotor and two control cables I had direct buried but that has been spread out over 25 years.

Because the ground is very rocky, and I don't want to rent a trenching tool for 25 feet, I planned to bury it fairly shallow (6-12 inches). I recently noticed that moles are working in that area, though.

I've had my feedlines suspended on a messenger cable running between buildings (ugly and a lightning hazard) or years. The yard is full of gray squirrels and they have ever chewed on anything. I didn't think about the moles, but they are definitely there. Such is life in the country.
