[ADXA] Hawaii on 160m late last night

It was around 11pm while several of us were chatting away the tailend of
New Years Day on Hamshack Hotline conference bridge when out of the blue,
Hawaii announced its presence on 160m FT8.

It took me a few to figure out what was going on as there were no KH's
shown in WSJTx or JTAlert, but there was a K9FD that was highlighted as a
new call, new DXCC and new continent.  I figured that this call somehow had
been flagged in the recent AD1C or Callsign Database as HI instead of
9-Land.  It happens.

I worked him and during the contact, I used the JTA messaging system to ask
him for sure his location since he was about -13, which was more like those
from the lower 48 and not DXCC.  He confirmed that he moved to HI about 20
years ago and just "kept" his 9 call.  He also said he would upload our
contact to LoTW when he shut down for the night.

This morning, there it was on LoTW as a Verified contact with Hawaii.  Now
I've got just 91 to go to get a DXCC on 160m.   Don't hold your breath
fellas as NYD would come around enough times for me to celebrate the other
91 on that day.

The new year did start off with a bang for me on 160m.
