[ADXA] PE1OAD/MM on 40m

Ok, I may be the odd one out here, but I try to make sure my log is as
complete as possible, and that includes Grid Squares on stations worked on
all bands/modes. I guess that makes me a major OCD type person, so be it,
I can live with that "problem".

I've shocked a bunch of really old OM's when I ask if they held this call
back in 19xx when I last worked the call. And almost without exception,
they have. Of course, most of them don't keep anything but a minimal paper
log, if that, so they just have to take my word for it. But if I had made
a comment on that entry, it's brought forward to the current log entry and
that may ring a bell with them. Sometimes, I get a chance to work the
original call owner's son or even once a grandson that acquired the call.
A detailed log is a history book for my operations and forgotten memories.

I like to look at my grid map by band and see where I've worked and perhaps
areas that I need to work on. And when I look at all bands, it's pretty
much filled in all over. Of course there are the obvious areas that are
not "ham friendly" or just no hams in residence there to work, those may
never be filled in.

BTW, my 6m counts are (for me) impressive. My Fred Fish award count stands
at 301 - a long way to go for the 488 needed. And the VUCC 50Mhz count is
403. And both of these rely, of course, on the GS.

I started out participating in the ARRL Grid Chase a couple years back but
since it was "reset" of the grids every month, I quickly found it to be an
event of redundancy and some OM's didn't understand why they were getting
worked time after time by the same stations, so, I found other things to
do. I'm sure I missed out on some "rare" grids, but to me, it just wasn't
worth all the starting over 12 times just to get my logbook count higher.
