[ADXA] DX on SSB

Well, I had 15 DX contacts on SSB until last week, but spending more time
chasing in that mode now. Made 3 new contacts today on 20m after I went out
and rubbed ice off the vinyl coated EFHW :-).

 

Contacted Brazil this morning, and then a double contact this afternoon with
Claude on St. Martin (FS5GL) and his friend on the other side of the island
of St. Maarten, Frank/PJ7FM. My first contacts on the Extra Class portion of
the band. I like the lower part of the 40m band also. Lots of good ham
conversations to listen to there. 

 

I made a couple of contacts on 15m last week with Lauro in Italy and Steve
in Panama. 

 

All fun. Fun because I am beyond caring about awards now (guess FT8 will do
that to you), and I'm enjoying being casual. LOL
