Hi EJ,
The problem with EL84, you need a boat, LOL. It starts 15 miles or so,
WEST of Key West. And much of the small land area on those small keys
is restricted.
One big DXpedition almost 10 years back, out on an excursion-type boast
with tables, kitchen, etc for 3 days .... got EL84 for almost
everybody. Great operation. I missed a M/S contact by just a sequence
before they broke off for an EME sched. Then I had to head out of town
for the remainder of the expedition. Such is life. No regrets.
Hopefully someone will head that way this summer. Luckily, it is
perfect Es distance to us in NWA. And actually a good M/S distance, if
the other end has a half decent antenna.
