Hi Scott,

Glad your turn came around. I like dropping bombs in that part of the world
hoping for an XW, etc, hihi. I love watching Grid Tracker's map while in
the Zombie mode LOL.

73 de jay..

Good morning, ADXA!

Coming out of a weak DX weekend, I saw W5JAY and then W5KCS had worked VU
and 4S respectively. I kept thinking, "I wish it would happen to me!"

Monday night propagation came my way for 100 watts and a wire. I had seen a
spot for VU earlier on SSB and the spotter said he was over the pole. But
that's the magical thing about a wire. You never know for certain how your
signal is getting there, and it doesn't matter!

I worked VU2DED on 20m FT8. Just before 9:00 p.m. here, my alerts started
going off for VU, 4S and EX. They were popping up left and right on my
station too. I worked VU2 a while and got a comeback from him and lost him.
Tried to work EX a few times. About 10 minutes later VU's signal came back
up, and I started working him again. QRM was less. This time I got his
signal report and RR73. Just after I sent my 73, I got a JTAlert message
from him saying he was replying with RR73 and I was in his log. We exchanged
greetings and 73. I started looking for 4S, and then they were all gone. He
confirmed on LOTW just an hour or two later before I went to bed. What a
brief, exciting window!

Just need a window like that into SE Asia now, hi. It will come.

73 and good DXing,

Scott/W5AAJ
