Very happy to see Scott's progress.  He's a great example of what you can do with our hobby if you put your mind to it, and I love to see new ham's like Scott enjoying amateur radio so much.  

Some of you may not know that Scott is recently retired as one of the leading flyfishing guides in the Ozarks . . . I told him ham radio was a great hobby.  Like flyfishing  it is technical and expensive.  The perfect male hobby (my apologies to the YLs and XYLs but you know what I mean)!

Eager to see what his next project is!

	Scott, W5AAJ, has provided updated DXCC Standing information.  He has added 19 to his mixed count and added quite a few on 15 and 10M.  His Desoto Challenge total is now up to 604.  Scott is making great progress toward the 1000 level. 

	 

	The Clinton B. Desoto Challenge award plaque is a nice looking award if your into having things hanging on the wall.  I’d encourage everyone to apply for the award when you hit the 1000 band multiplier level.  The plaque is optional.
