Jim helped me with Arkansas on a couple of bands in my early days of WAS chasing. He's a gentleman and a FB ham.

Well, that was fun, Jim, calling and texting. Learned a lot. Confirmed what
I thought about propagation. Took me forever to get triple play on OK. MO
hard too. Signals just bounce over the near states. Friend in Memphis says
LA very hard for him also.
Catch you later,
Scott/W5AAJ

Monitoring 28.074 now, but only seeing Brazilian stations and the odd US
station I don't need, hihi
Usually about 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 stations start to get more numerous and
strong. Again after 3:00 p.m.

I started pursuing QRP DXCC on 4/9 on FT8. Surprised how many QSOs I've made
in a little over two weeks. Last night I picked up ZL (8,000 miles) and VK
(9,000 miles) on 5W. Woohoo!
Here's my country list so far:
9A7
9Y4
CE2
CO5
CT1
CU3
DJ5
EA6
EB2
F2
FG5
G0

PU2
TF2
TG9
TI5
V31
VA3
WH6
XE2
YV6
JA7
P41
ZF1
VK2
ZL3
It's a fun pursuit.
Funny how I can pick up all these on 5W and can't get the state of LA I need
for WAS 10m on any wattage, hihi. Need sunspots!
73 and good DXing,
Scott/W5AAJ
.
