I'm catching up on emails today. Been out of town social distancing in Florida. The propagation is way better looking east there. I was copying all sorts of European stations on a wire slung out the window. Rarely hear them on beam up here today

Hello to Lenny! Glad to hear you are doing well. I hope you can get in the pile ups, if they still exist on SSB, once in awhile.

Got my first short wave radio for Christmas 1967 and licensed in 1968 as WN9ZCP. Then chased a lot of DX as WA9ZCP before my parents got smart and migrated to Arkansas. Just like yall those were a fun times.

Joel, I agree with your editorial. The DXCC program is really based on an honor system so enforcing any remote radio rules would be challenging. Whatever you think about FT8, it certainly has been a game changer on summertime 160/80 meter DXing. bands are full of DX and of course the guys south of the equator are more active since its their winter

Thanks Steve for kind words

I'm switching primary email to k5ej at outlook.com I just noticed me it has me as Edward Jones - whoever that is- Hi! Changed it back to EJ Jones

Good DX

Excellent newsletter and thanks for the effort Glenn. EJ, great article on antenna comparisons. This is the kind of stuff we need to see. I was a little surprised at the results and comparison. Good info. Two S units is very valuable.

I agree with Joel regarding aspects of RHR. However, I'm only one voice. If you follow the awards reflector, you'll get a taste of my life. I personally like the "single location" endorsement. We'll see.

Rick, thanks for those cards. The Connie is my favorite airliner and I have actually flown on one twice as a passenger.

Kind regards and 73,

Steve, QQ

I don't know if the first one went out so I'm trying again. My
apologies if you get two copies.

Here it is (and thanks for your understanding) - the 2020 3rd Quarter
ADXA newsletter.

As usual you will need a PDF reader to view the document.
