No Rick, I had posted later that it was W3BIW, Eleanor Hammonds of Bryn Mawr, PA. Bryn Mawr stuck in my mind and I searched and found her on QRZ.com despite having passed away a few years ago at age 103 I think. She was 45ish when I was 15 years old in Stuttgart, AR and talked to her ever 3-4 weeks. She ran a LOT of nets too. Check QRZ.com to see her listing.
San Have a good October but know it’s cold where you moved to from AZ…LOL

San, I remember you mentioned a YL you used to work who did a lot
of traffic work. I seem to remember this callsign as one who fit that
bill..... maybe this was the one you were talking about..... Rick AI5P
Champion NTS traffic handler Mae Burke, W3CUL, of Seminole, Florida, died November 5, 1997. She was 86. Mae Burke was a member of the ARRL and of the A1 Operator's Club. She won the fifth Edison Radio Amateur Award for public service for 1956 (see QST, Apr 1957, p 68). At that time, she was operating daily in six CW nets and handled some 312,000 messages between 1949 and 1957.
