[ADXA] Amen FUV and need ARRL article if possible

Your comments here had a few more drastic, needed comments, such as how the rules of the band Bernie mentioned are NOT being followed by seasoned, egotistical DXers all over the world. And, yes, I did read his article about rules, which most us around since 2003 know well…
My HamCom talks also mentioned the “rules”, etc.. He just did not go the extra mile in explaining specific and illegal problems from seasoned DXers. Getting the DX at all costs, even to point of repeated illegal use of the band.
I shall not comment further but do agree with what has been said and that some extra “stuff” needs to be put somewhere else besides just the ADXA chat site, as you so justifiably said in your long initial comment. Bottom line, licenses might be at risk and more reportable 60m monitoring is needed.
No more 60m comments by me. Carry on.

San -
Bernie, W3UR, devoted the entire "How's DX" column in the November 2020 QST to 60 meters and the rules for the band. I assume you saw and read it.
Another article would serve no real purpose.

AMEN!!  ☹
Takes out channel 3 USB and oscillating tones take out channel 3 CW.
Initial ARRL guidelines said RTTY was considered "USB" for it's center frequency and to be used on the USB frequency, not the CW frequency which is up 1.5 on each of the 5 channels on 60m. These are not VFO tunable! The VFO bands are the 15w ERP output "bands" created, mainly used in Europe, after the last WARC rulings, and VFOs are allowed in the 5351.5 to 5366.5 range (a 15 KC  15 watt VFO band!). This VFO band is NOT FOR NA!! We are fixed frequency channels!!

That is why there was "talk" in the past that NA would pursue a VFO band on 60m to make up for the loss of our channel 3 by the FT8 stuff and all its confusions created, even for knowledgeable FT mode users.
I wish Joel's article's content could be published in QST and SOON! The irregularities going on can and will kill the band for our hobby. If not for DX chasers and DXpeditions doing stupid stuff, 60m might be a useful band as intended in 2003... EMERGENCY USE and non intrusive casual, local conversations. 60m started with USB and CW was added later and caused a LOT of problems, since DX was being heard in EU and SA, etc...

Joel?  Can you and Rick get this done? The FCC really does need to patrol the situation. I am considering deleting my DX 100 ladder standing of #12 with 182 countries that is posted on the 60m Website. My "new ones" in the past 2-3 years have been by my begging emails and setting up a quick sked on CW with DXpeds that are using mainly FT8. 50% use FT8 only like the recent 7Q7RU and I mentioned this in the past. CW is dead on 60m for the most part in DXing per se.
Sorry for long email guys, but something has to be done!!

WAS #8 (2009) and DX 100 first 5 issued (2015, no #s), on 60m CHANNELS 4-5 mainly -  Fun while it lasted... for the most part. HI

I've long believed that FT8 is illegal on 60 meters.
