Hi Steve, 

The same thing here, my brain cells were not kicking in for the JD1-M.  I had just worked another JD1 the other day, but it was JD1-O.

With Burnie’s help I got HV0A for ATNO just a few weeks back!  Without his help I would have missed them again for sure!!  Bill W5SJ introduced me to Burnie during the ARRL Centennial.  What a great time that was!  This event is when Joel jump out of his chair when he saw Kathy and I passing by.  We were wearing Arkansas T shirts and had great time visiting with each other.  Another nice memory!  Shame we were not wearing ADXA shirts, hi.  😊

 

DXing is great and so are the folks involved.  The ADXA and this reflector really adds to my DXing!!  Thanks guys!!

Yes, congrats Pat.  And, due to your generosity in sharing this news, I was able to come to my senses, check my own stats and realize I needed JD1-M on CW, one of my last five.  I do subscribe to the Daily DX but somehow missed this one.  If anyone else needs this entity, I was able to work him first call.  He took a deep fade so I sent my call twice and pieced it together but you never know.  Then I see my confirmation on LOTW this morning!!!

I owe you one Pat.

After this morning's concerning email regarding illegal 60 meter operation by some U.S. radio amateurs its time to share some GREAT EXCITING news about ADXA VIce President Pat, W5VY.

As you know, Pat posted on our reflector yesterday that JD1-M had appeared on 40 meters and he had nabbed him. Pat's confirmation via LoTW came through this morning and Pat promptly and immediately filed an endorsement application. Why so fast? After 56 years, YES 56 YEARS, W5VY is now a very prominent member of the DXCC Honor Roll !!!!!!!

Pat - this is exciting and great news. On behalf of ADXA, CONGRATULATIONS OM!!!
