[ADXA] Shame of US Radio Amateurs - 60 Meters -- AGREE!!!!!!!

This is one heck of a post by Joel!! I have been around 60m since day one on July 3, 2003 and have given two talks at HamCom about 60m and the right things so do and that the ARRL had good reason to not want to give awards for accomplishments on the band, making it too crowded…
I did assist with the 60m “DXCC” and WAS awards but dropped out because of NOT wanting to use “DXCC” on the award. It is an ARRL patented lettering, the DXCC name. I talked to K1ZZ about this and I agreed the 60m enthusiasts should name any DX award as something like DX 100 but things fell apart due to some “big dogs” who wanted to do it their way. I even dropped being a card checker for WAS on 60m. I honestly wish the FCC would DENY 60m as an amateur band. Too many “big dogs” as Joel’s friend in Texas have felt obligated to break rules to “keep up with the other chasers” on the 60m DX list standings. A game of illegalities and I detest it. Is EGO worth more than LEGALITY from a licensed ham in the USA?
Anyone wanting to get on 60m, please read Joel’s dissertation twice, so informative and factual.
My DXCC 60m award from K3ZXL is dated Dec 2015. I am a gold star certificate holder, meaning in the top 10, think I was #2, to get 100 on 60m… NO BIG DEAL now, at this point. I am ashamed that my old 60m buddies are breaking rules right and left. Wish the FCC would take the license away from those who break the rules knowingly.
TU JOEL… 73, all.
