[ADXA] Recent Kaufman Auction

Good morning,

Thought I'd relate my experience with the recent Kaufman auction of the
Weston gear.  I knew I was going to be in meetings when the auctions were
ending, so I placed some bids on several things of interest and just left
them there.

The bird wattmeters went for a lot, not surprisingly, but I think those
bidders might not have looked at new items when they were bidding.

The Elecraft KPA500 went for about $1,000.  If it were indeed new in box
that was a great deal.

I also bid on several of the short wave portables, mostly Sony's.

I only won one item - a Shure 444 microphone for $22, it will go great with
my Hallicrafters Cyclone Transceiver!  I only have a hand mic for it now.

Interested if anyone else did any "bidding and winning"
