Sorry to hear about John.  He was a very gracious host and very
accommodating with young operators ( and old guys like me).  We had
multiple Qs on 20, 40 and 80 over the past five years.

I bought his book, "Low-Band DXing" about six months ago.  It is a treasure
of info.  Sorry I never had the opportunity to meet John.
