Rory.. Good day to you..
I tried to work you for 30 minutes for fun of in the ARQSO party event on 7mc SSB this weekend, but you were working east coast and a LOT of K8/K9 stuff. You were about a 52-53 on average here. Anyway, I tried. Most of the AR guys were real strong on 3.8 and 3.5. Worked a few. Hope you did well and your score is “up there” in QST when points are reported later.
Hope someone buys my 5 ele 18 foot boom M2 6 meter antenna. I am off 6m for good. Now will have to borrow a hook-pulley and pull up my 40m rotatable dipole to put above my Moseley 5 band HF beam. My pulley that I used to put it up with my wife’s help about 8 years ago was loaned to Charles W5NX when we took down a lot of his antenna and tower stuff one weekend a few years ago when he went “simple”. Hi I’ll have to ask John if he knows where it is. I told Charles to keep it for a while longer if needed.
Have a good DXing week down there! I listen a lot for the semi-rare stuff, but unless a new band-mode, I usually do not call. Thank goodness our ham radio hobby helps cure the viral blues we’re in now ….

I am pointed that way Steve and don't hear squat.  Usually I start seeing the N/E states very strong just before it opens to EU.  I worked a few in North Carolinas this morning but it never moved to the N/E.  Thanks for the "heads up" though!
