[ADXA] 6 Meter Prop "Over the Pole"

Oh, it would have happened in the past IF the FT8/FT4 modes were with us years ago. The weak signals WERE there but we just could not hear them on SSB or CW and often not on RTTY. Same ionization perhaps as today but we just did not know they “were in there”..

Now we know the weak signals CAN be copied and what a difference in the DX chasing. I only wish that when signals are stronger than -5dB that a FEW DX stations would go to CW and maybe SSB (if in the + range) just for a few minutes. It would help those not on FT modes. And most “knowing” DXers DO work more per minute in the CW mode, at least 3-4 a minute on average. And it’s using the human ear and not being done by software programs. Cough cough cough …. 😊 Now back to watching DX Summit and DX maps >>>>

Subject: [ADXA] 6 Meter Prop "Over the Pole"

The 6 meter prop this year is just amazingly mind boggling.

The pacific northwest is currently working Europe "over the pole" which
just never happens. I would have to do some research although I believe
the number of times that has occurred and has been documented could be
counted on just one hand....with some fingers left in reserve! (If you
disagree with that are welcomed to advise me so with one of the reserve
fingers!) :-))

ADXA folks - remember these past couple of months with 6 meter prop and
especially the past few weeks. It ain't like this every year!!
