Subject: Re: [ADXA] K5UR's Propagation Advice
The ARRL June VHF Contest is this coming weekend. This date was not chosen by accident or random drawing, it was selected because it falls at the peak of the sporadic E and propagation peak for 6 meters, that sometimes floats up to 2 meters.
The east coast has a pretty big opening to EU this morning extending to the western parts of the middle east.
BE ALERT!!

ADXA Folks,
We all know Rick, K5UR is a world class op. One of the reasons is he
keeps some of the most detailed records of anyone I know.....all paper
records, no computer!!!
When Rick provides advice about 6 meter prop that may still be
forthcoming based on his historical records, you should treat it like
E.F. Hutton.....When he speaks, people listen. If you don't remember
those E.F. Hutton commercials then remember this...when K5UR speaks
about past propagation trends, you should LISTEN!!
For 6 meter DX, aside from working toward your 6 meter DXCC those
contact also count for the DX Challenge Award so they are VERY
important.
So, per Rick's advice stay alert over the next few weeks even if your 6
meter station is "modest" because it can pay HUUUUGE dividends!
