Earl, N5ZM, widely known as “The DX Hog”, has provided updated DXCC standings info.  He has added a new one on 160M (194) and two to his 80M total (287).  The big news is those additions bumped his Desoto Challenge count up to 2900!   Earl joins San, K5YY, in the 2900 group.  At that level you tune and tune while watching the spots scroll across the screen for days before you hear/see a “new one”!  To spice things up Earl has entered the CQ DX Marathon a few times and I think he won or came in second in the RTTY category one year (pre FT8 days).  Nice going Earl…be sure to leave some DX for the rest of us.
