Jim, WB5AAA, has provided updated DXCC standings info.  He has been adding to his band/mode counters and has made good progress across the board.  He has eight band DXCC and is closing in on the 2K mark on the Desoto Challenge.  Jim lucked out and dodged both hurricanes that tracked a bit west of his Breaux Bridge, LA, QTH.
