I have a card there now for EX8MLE, but he hasn’t answered my emails. Working them (EX) is one thing, getting them confirmed is another. I go to the mailbox looking for my return mailer every day!

Same for the Z60 I worked a while back. I missed the one that is on LOTW from Marty and friends. But worked another one in the mean time and sent him a card. He does email and replies back that he will send my card soon.

If I don’t see those cards tomorrow I will do the one card I have on ARRL online DXCC so it will be ready for this coming Saturday.

Great Jay. The EX (old UM8) is a pretty hard one to get. Luckily I have them on the WARC bands and 80m confirmed. Never worked on 160, 40 or RTTY or 60m. 60m RTTY wud be a good “double catch” but chances are 1 in 930,358 and I am not tuning the bands for them.

EZ is BY FAR the rarest to get on ANY band or mode from the former USSR prefixes. That’s the old UH8.

BTW, Did anyone work these guys? http://www.ex6qp.dxpeditions.org/ I need EX and have worked them a few times before. I only got this last expedition once on 20m. Yes it was on FT8 and was glad I got them on that. I didn’t see any USA station during that time working them. I did not get them on any of the other bands, but I did chase them.

They say they are going to do QRSS, but then they say send the cards back bureau? That sucks if I read that right?

BTW, it is amazing that San worked over 300 countries in such a short time on the RTTY mode! That is a power hungry mode for sure and needs good filtering. I bet I don’t have near that much on that mode/digital and was on Digital modes since the 90s.

Congrats San and no gig or dig here, well not this time, maybe in person, hihi. 😊
