Interesting opening today around 1914Z.  I usually can't hear these
stations:

212  KHz   UC       Union City, TN

227           TNX     Walnut Ridge, AR

335            BV        Batesville, AR

338            TT        Stuttgart, AR

353            LI          Little Rock, AR

375           DS         Searcy, AR

If you aren't familiar with them, these are called NDBs and are usually
located at an airport.  They are used for one of the early instrument
approaches we had in aviation.  They were tough to deal with and any
other option was always welcome.  Most have been shut down.  The
approach was called an ADF (Automatic Direction Finder) and I'm sure not
many pilots utilize them today with the advent of GPS, etc.

If you hear a morse identifier, you can look up the beacon ID at this
site.  It is kind of addicting.  I know its off-topic but fun anyway.
