   Just a quick comment. At the September 21st Q meeting at Joel’s home, under new business the ADXA considered 3 requests for donations. We have rules on donations, mostly where the DXCC entity stands on the “needed” chart.

Based on most needed chart, we elected to give $400 to the upcoming VP8 So. Orkney trip and $100 to the ZK3 trip, but the current TX7T DXpedition is to an often activated DXCC country and was not high enough on the “need list” to warrant a donation from the ADXA. No donation was voted for TX7T accordingly.

    I just noted on the TX7T website under donors, they list several entities including companies and many DX organizations who are donors. The ADXA is listed as item #11. Some donor groups had brief comments like donor on past trips etc. Joel maybe you can tell us who may have donated $$ money to the TX7T in the name of the ADXA.

  Thanks to anyone for ideas on how this donation to this Marquesas DXpedition occurred. If an individual did this, we need to know. I know it did not come from our ADXA money funds.

   They are active but poor conditions and antennas have caused very low signals on the bands. I worked them on CW on 4 bands and three times the op said “hello San or hi San” so likely was SJ or UEE. They are there 12 more days I think. No logs posted yet for some reason. Comments have been made that the website for TX7T says “Account Suspended” when clicking “Here” for updates on photos and news. Indicates someone did not pay for the website to continue at this time.. Strange. Ideas anyone?
