[ADXA] The old Hara days.

I think a new company / entity bought Hara Arena about 2 years ago … Do not remember who or what they had planned on doing with it, perhaps a shopping area or such. Hope they had it insured a little bit..  

My first trip there was in 1960 and then many times in the mid 60s thru late 80s, one stretch of 13 straight years during my early DXpedition ventures which started in 1970 to Swan KS4... Fond memories of the MANY vendors, inside and outside and sorta average food inside in that large room off the main floor. And the great DX forums and yaking outside the forum room with guys you had not seen in a year. And the Biltmore Hotel downtown when it was the MAIN hotel with 4 floors dedicated to DX Clubs, and we DID have a few drinks until 1-2AM but managed to get to Hara by 8AM … somehow. HI
