Way to go Earl. I listened at that time 7:00 to 7:30 and heard NOTHING on the XR0. Again, good catch. I even tuned over a 10 kc segment. Did not see spots either on the 5X3 .. Now, go to sleep OM… Mainly was listening for the greyline XR0, maybe did not listen far enuff off freq for the 5X3…

There is possibly something to that, Earl. The moon runs on a 28 day
cycle from new moon through full moon back to new moon. The Dst Index
(NOT daylight savings time) and other data suggests 160 meter
propagation tracks similar to that. Not proven, but a darn good theory!
An unrelated theory says werewolves come out during a full moon also
however I put more faith in the propagation theory! I've never seen a
werewolf. I have seen amazing 160 meter propagation!!
