[ADXA] S9A - not very good operation overall

I know some ADXA members likely worked the S9A for a new B/M perhaps and will be QSLing. Latest stats show FT8 = 55% of all QSOs and NA only 9.5% of all QSOs including SSB and CW.
Only thing I needed S9 for was an ATNO on 60m. Emailed the leader and got a reply he did not do CW but would pass 60m times and freqs to next op coming on at 0300Z 2 nights ago. NIL, either night on CW and what little they did was FT8 again. Many, many comments on DXSummit about how horrible the operation is, way too much FT8, why not NA, why EU only during NA prime propagation times?, etc etc.
If I had needed them on 1-2 simple Band/Modes, I would not send $$ via OQRS since no effort was made on a popular 60m band and on CW. An ATNO is more important than a new band mode or two. I know many ADXA guys will send $$ to get what few new band/modes confirmed that they worked. The S9A leaders reading DXSummit comments did not accommodate NA operators during the narrow, peak prop times. Every DXpedition has some failings but this one seems a bit lost for sure. 6 ops from EA land and one S9 op. Donations from EU always run FAR LESS than from NA hams. They are missing some funding for sure. Just my thoughts and based on statistical evidence. Look at the statistic pages. VERY useful information on bands, modes, continents, QSO totals, etc
S9A there for less than 48 hours more. Hope those needing for an ATNO have good fortunes. LOL Ain’t chasing DX fun?
