At least the suffix is a “Repeat Letter” which is a little easier for the DX to hear… JJJ, QQ, II and YY.
K5YY = Yellow Yellow, Yak Yak, Yankee Yankee, Yesterday Yesterday, Yugoslavia Yugoslavia, Yummy Yummy and others.
Welcome George to the ADXA group. You will have fun climbing the ladder. Give us your totals when you have time. Hope CU at annual event here in Springdale.

Subject: [ADXA] Welcome New Member WB5JJJ
Welcome to new associate ADXA member George Cotton, WB5JJJ. George is
one of the first hams I ever met (along with John WB5BHS) many, many
years ago. That is George's original callsign and if you think that's a
tongue twister to spit out on phone it was a killer back in the Novice
CW days!!!!! You could earn a Rag Chewer's Club certificate just
exchanging calls! :-)))
If you've been on 6 meters FT8 over the past year or so you've worked,
or as a minimum decoded, George. He's also very active on many bands. If
you have never met George you will always see him at the Russellville
hamfest.
George's ADXA sponsor is our ADXA DX Hog of the Year John, WB5BHS.
Welcome George, good to have you on board.
73 Joel W5ZN
