Hey Steve.. Good that you need ‘em on so few bands.. That’s a good indication of past DX chasing and you can lay back a bit now.
I lived in Memphis for several years until Jan of 1957 when I moved back to Arkansas. Knew Elvis and was at his Audubon Drive home twice in mid 1956 before he moved Graceland in March 57. He was 21 and I was 13, and I danced on Wink Martindale’s WHBQ dance show every Saturday from mid 56 til we moved. My best friend was 3 years older than me and his good friend was Elvis’ first drummer DJ Fontana. I went to East High School on Poplar which is now a STEM school. My good friend owns most of the TV and radio stations in Memphis, classmate Sonny Flinn ( George ), who went to East High with me. I come see him every 3-4 years and rehash old days.
Been chasing the 9X2 and got him on 60m for an ATNO but wud like him on CW on couple of bands but he tends to stay on FT8 unfortunately. Need him on 1.8mc for new one… The 6O1OO has not been on that I have heard. Maybe cancelled. The E51 South Cook op is on low bands and need on 1.8 also. Weak signals and no real peak at our sunrise. Oh, weather here tomorrow is 22 high and 9 for a low. Our 54th wedding anniv is tomorrow (my birthday is today) and we will go out all bundled up for sure!! Hi

I'll be looking for them on 30 and 40 meters. All I need. Hopefully it will happen. Cold over here in Memphis. Sorry I can't enter as an ADXA station in the contests. Stay warm.

As Joel indicates, be a DXing member, even if only working the 5X on ONE band-mode. Anyone, even the most super casual DXer, with any minimal effort, can find ONE band/mode to put the 5X0X in your log.
Surely everyone has a few minutes during the early morning, mid morning, early afternoon, after supper or before bedtime ( God forbid getting up at 2-4 AM ) to jump in the small pileup to work the 5X. This is NOT a super rare DXCC entity and is short of being “semi-rare” in most DXer minds. I agree with Joel that everyone should put this in the log ONE time, proving that you are DX chasing to some extent.
CU in the pileups. I too only need them on 160m but will wait til later in the trip til the huge pileup on 1.8 dies down just a tad, especially when I have to get up at their sunrise in 5X and have only a dipole at 35 feet. Hey, we all have to consider everything: times, bands, our antenna systems, rarity, propagation, QRN, our fatigue and need for sleep, etc etc… GET ON THE BANDS and work ‘em once.

For you Edi Amin fans, or more appropriate and exciting you "Raid on
Entebbe" fans, 5X0X Uganda will be on the air March 13-25. The first
class Italian DXpedition gang that has activated many good ones had to
cancel their planned trip to Chad TT this spring, for security reasons,
so they moved up their 5X op planned for this fall to this spring.
Now, it goes without noting the rarity of 5X that some of you need this
one, so GET ON THE AIR AND WORK THEM!!! What? Something is wrong with
your antenna? Well, this op is more than six weeks away so get off your
ass and get ready!!!
I only need 5X on 160. The last major 5X op was several years ago and I
did not make it on 160 so I will be gunning for them BIG TIME in March.
Let's see a BIG ADXA effort on this one. I want to see EVERY ADXA member
show up in their log on at least one band. You can do it! Don't have a
big station? Use your operator skill to break through the pileup and
kick some east coast butt. While you're at it, kick some W6 butt as
well!! :-))
Let's go folks....put this one in your log!
